Girls & Self Image

So much of my days include working on inner beauty within my daughters. Teaching and training their hearts is a full time job. We’re talking about alllllll of the fruits of the spirit. But let’s not forget about outer beauty because here’s the truth- your girls want to hear that they’re beautiful. I’ve yet to meet a girl who’d prefer you not tell them.😂 The world is coming for your daughters in a million ways to tell them that they need x, y, z to be pretty and as parents we need to be the ones to show up first and tell them they’re already stunning! Make it a point TODAY to tell her that she’s gorgeous and be specific!
Examples:
-I love the natural curl in your hair!
-The color of your eyes is 😍!
-What a beautiful complexion you have!

I have found that a perfect, organic moment to communicate this is when I’m fixing their hair or helping them get dressed! Do it and see your daughter’s eyes sparkle in that moment.✨
